Eligibility Requirements
Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of skilled full-time (or equivalent part-time) Canadian work experience in the last 3 years.
- Work experience must fall under the NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 (previously NOC 0, A, or B):
- TEER 0: Managerial jobs
- TEER 1: Professional jobs requiring a degree
- TEER 2 & 3: Technical jobs and skilled trades
Language Proficiency
- For NOC TEER 0 or 1 jobs → Minimum CLB 7 (English) or NCLC 7 (French).
- For NOC TEER 2 or 3 jobs → Minimum CLB 5 (English) or NCLC 5 (French).
- Accepted tests: IELTS, CELPIP, TEF, TCF.
Other Requirements
- Must plan to live outside Quebec (Quebec has its own immigration program).
- Must be admissible to Canada (medical, security, and background checks apply).
Application Process
- Check Eligibility → Confirm your Canadian work experience and language results meet the program’s requirements.
- Create Express Entry Profile → Enter the candidate pool.
- Get Ranked by CRS → Receive a score based on factors like age, language, education, and work experience.
- Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) → If your score is competitive.
- Submit PR Application → Provide documents and fees within 60 days.
- Obtain Permanent Residency → Processing typically takes 6 months.
